Park Reservation Information

Facility Types

Many of Anoka’s beautiful parks have amenities that may be rented for exclusive use.

  • Buildings - buildings are fully enclosed, typically heated (no air conditioning), require a key for entry. Buildings have interior restrooms and water access.
  • Pavilions - pavilions are typically seasonal structures  that are fully enclosed but are not temperature controlled. These facilities may have doors/windows or roll up garage doors and require a key for access. Pavilions have access to water & restrooms.
  • Shelters or Patios - shelters/patios are open air covered structures with picnic tables (typically bolted down) and grills near by. Shelters do not have electricity/water and typically the park will only have a portable restroom or two.
  • Concession Rooms - these are small spaces with electricity and service counters. These spaces are best used for overflow of food items that need to be kept hot for your event. Some concession rooms have sinks but not hot water.
  • Fields and Courts - some parks have tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball courts, sand volleyball, softball/baseball fields, and soccer fields that could be reserved for an hourly fee for your group to use during your rental. On weekends, these facilities are typically available on a first come basis. The majority of Anoka’s fields/courts are reserved weeknights for organized athletic activities.
