Safe Sitter Babysitters Training:

Safe Sitter prepares students grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching siblings, or babysitting. Students learn safety, child care skills, diapering, behavior management, online and personal safety. First aid and rescue skills including injury management, choking rescue, infant/child CPR. Activities, role playing and hands on activities with manikins create a fun learning environment while practicing skills. Course content follows guidelines of American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association. *Participants will NOT become certified in CPR with this course.*

Youth participating will receive a Safe Sitter manual and will build a take home first aid kid.

Friday, March 11, 2022

Students will need to bring a lunch with them for during the class. 

Course will take place at Anoka City Hall, 2015 1st Ave, Anoka, MN 55303. Youth will need to bring a lunch with them for during the class. 

Course Fee: $55.00

 Where: Sunny Acres Park and George Enloe Park
 Cost: $20/team
 Metals awarded for 1,2,3 in all brackets and for best costume. 
Boos and Bags Tournament
 Who: Any combination of teams of 2
 When: Saturday, October 8, 2022 (start time TBD)
 Where: George Enloe Park 
 Cost: $20/team
 Prizes awarded for 1,2,3 in brackets

Bigfoot’s Kickball Tournament
 Who: 10 people per team. • Only 9 people on the field at once for defense. 
 When: Saturday, October 8, 2022 (start time TBD)
Where: George Enloe Park
 Cost: $50/team
Prizes awarded to 1st place winners
