22nd Annual Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair Set for July 10
Are you looking for a fun, family-friendly outing for your “stay-cation” or just a great way to spend a Saturday with family and friends? Then plan to visit historic downtown Anoka for the 22nd Annual Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair on Saturday, July 10, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
While the event was canceled in 2020, due to the pandemic, organizers are expecting to match or exceed estimated attendance in 2019 of 20,000 people. “With a variety of some of the best artists and crafters in place and with the Fair sitting alongside the Rum River and in the heart of historic downtown Anoka, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy,” said Peter Turok, President of the Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce. “Riverfest is one of the largest outdoor craft fairs in the Twin Cities, with more than 120 juried crafters and artists.”
Stroll through the many craft exhibitor booths lined along Jackson Street, parts of 2nd Avenue, and throughout City Hall River Plaza. Tempt your taste buds with fair-like food sold in the Riverfest food court. Anoka has many popular eating establishments to also tempt your taste buds, many with outdoor seating. You will also find a brewery, a wine bar, many antique shops, and quaint boutique-style shops filled with clothing, jewelry, accessories, décor, and so much more!
Anoka Riverfest & Craft Fair would not be possible without the generous support of its sponsors. Thanks to them, free parking and free admission are offered. We invite you to enjoy the charm of this historic river city. For all of the event details and list of sponsors, visit anokariverfest.org.
